At first we were all eagerly anticipating the release of Diablo 3, and then, most grew tired and just decided to move on with their lives until it finally arrives. Well, last month, gamers were allowed to pre-purchase the game via a digital copy. Of course, real gamers wanted a real CD.

Well, Blizzard finally gave us what we wanted. A game that will take over our lives for a long time, and of course, the continuation of the game we've been dying to play again.

Diablo 3 will finally be released on May 15, 2012.

Here's a trailer they released last year just to remind you of what you've been waiting for for a very long time.

Between Silk and Cyanide

Set during the World War II, you play a very beautiful spy, Violette Summers. Who managed to carry out 7 missions before she was taken out with a sniper during her plan to assassinate Kamm, a German military intelligence officer. The game begins with Violette sliding in and out of consciousness as she relives her past missions. Her flashbacks are basically your missions. The cut scenes include two men who saved her and are arguing if they should keep her alive or surrender her to the SS. As the Germans uncover her location, Violette wakes up from her coma and finds the hospital filled with Nazi soldiers. Having escaped she finds a way to save the villagers from them.

VA is a Stealth Action Game similar to Splinter Cell. It takes some getting used to if you usually play aggressively fast-paced games. The level of stealthy-ness is super-awsomely-cool! A special feature called "Morphine Mode" is also added, activated when Violette injects herself with the drug, enables her to escape or kill without being seen for a certain amount of time. Game play wise, it's a little unpolished and not very challenging. You may find her assassinations a little repetitive. And the game itself is a little lacking, with very little game time required to finish it. But ReplayStudios did a great job on bringing back the World War II scene and made it a lot more interesting. Considering we had enough of it from games like CoD and Medal of Honor.

I'm being a little brutal here, but seriously the concept is great but the execution, well, it needs a little work. But, man, VA is worth it despite it's flaws. And surprsingly enough it was inspired by a real SOE Secret Agent, Violette Szabo who was betrayed, tortured, abused and eventually killed. If you finish the game, and read about Szabo, you'll see that they patterned it a bit to what happened to her.

Cool eh?

Fly with me! or.. err with your friends

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X is an arcade flight combat simulator. If you are expecting or have heard that this is a flight simulator, I'm telling you now, it's not. H.A.W.X brings back the old school arcade style of air to air/air to ground combat without any complications that you get from the wide array of flight simulators on the market today. This game provides a simple way to engage enemies from above or below without breaking a sweat (well... sometimes). Although H.A.W.X resembles the ever popular Topgun it offers much more.

I have a very soft spot for things that blow up in the air and an even softer spot for taking a jet in the air. I have loved every game that offers me the sky, and I loved them even more if they allow me to shoot something out of it. Now aside from Topgun, H.A.W.X offers all the things I want with a bonus, amazing graphics and sounds. The great thing about H.A.W.X is that even if your not a hardcore fan of arcade flight combat simulators you'd still like this game. H.A.W.X has a simple interface, a very straight forward combat and flight system. It's doesn't take too much effort to quickly get around in playing H.A.W.X. Sometimes people think that these kinds of games takes some extra effort in getting used to, well it's not. If you can shoot a zombie in L4D or kill a terrorist in CoD then you can definitely shoot a plane in H.A.W.X.

The graphics are well designed allowing a very detailed look on the planes. The only downfall on the graphics is that it focuses mainly on the sky and the planes. The ground work is pretty much rubbish but then again you rarely look and take awe at the ground when your killing enemy planes in the air. A fair warning though, the very fine detail of blurs and then tossing and turning might not suit some players who isn't accustomed to air combat games, so you may feel a little nauseous after a mission or two.
The coup de grace of H.A.W.X is the wide range planes you can unlock throughout the game. There are over 40 planes to discover and unlock. This is a paradise for all those fellow jet plane fenatics out there! The choice of planes ranges from the legendary A-10A to the famous F-22 Raptor. Any jetplane fanatic like me will stare at awe when they see the vast veriety of planes H.A.W.X has to offer, the best part is you can take them to the skies!
