Just about a month ago, Mobius games announced that they will be a gateway for subscribing on Dofus. Furthermore all accounts made from January 1 onwards will automatically be assigned to an exclusive Philippines server. Although Reema and I are hoping this is a SEA server not a pure IP blocked Philippine one, we always like diversity.

On that note, Dofus isn't a new MMORPG, in fact a handful of Filipino players are already playing it long before Mobius and Ankama (dofus publisher) had this recent partnership. Dofus is a turn based tactical MMORPG with a bit of cartoon-ish graphics, but don't be fooled some contents are a bit surprising. Besides that, the gameplay itself is unique to any games we played, it's the main reason why we love this game. Since it's a turn based tactical game, you can throw away that point click fighting style. It's economy is entirely run by players, everything, and I mean everything is player dependent. This is the main reason why a new server starts up very slow unlike other games. We already reviewed this game a while back when it was on it's infant stage, and a lot has changed, but one thing remains the same, it is still very addictive and fun. We are glad with the new payment system, most filipino gamers who did not have the privilege to enjoy this game will finally have that opportunity. So what are you waiting for? =)
