If you feel sad because Google Reader is dead, don't! RSS feed is very much alive. Yeah, I hear you. You've been so used to the alerts you get that tells you there is something new from your favorite sites that you find it difficult to live without it. But hey, RSS does that too. You may not have the alerts but you get the feeds directly from your email. And if you have a smartphone or a tablet, who says you can't get the alerts too? When you set up your email on your phone and you are logged in, the alerts for new email will keep on coming. So stop mourning on a dead horse, RSS can do the job better.
