You've been using the internet everyday searching for information, shopping or communicating with friends or relatives, but do you actually know what a software is? Statistic say millions of internet users don't know what it is. I, too, admit that I didn't know what a software really is. All I know is it is device that is essential to every computer.
So I did a little research and found that a software is practically anything that can be stored electronically. it can be in a form or instructions or data. The device where you store these things is called hardware.
A lot of us get confused on the distinction between a hardware and a software because both are linked together. To put it simply, when you buy a program the program itself is a software, but you are also buying a hardware because software is stored in a hardware which is the disk.
